Byesville Park Commission

   (a)   The Park Commission is authorized and empowered to incur indebtedness, enter into contracts, and expend the moneys in the Park Fund, whether they are from public or non- public sources, provided that such indebtedness, contractual obligations and expenditures are in the furtherance of the proper purposes in the Commission as provided in this chapter.  The Park Commission shall obtain the approval of Council prior to incurring any indebtedness.

   (b)   All expenditures from the Park Fund shall be subject to the supervision and control of the Park Liaison, representing Council.  This would include approval of all purchase orders, and all activities of park employees that involve expenditures of park funds, and shall be made in the manner as provided in this Chapter.

   The Park Liaison shall be entitled to designate another member of Byesville Village Council as Interim Park Liaison during any period within which said Park Liaison will be out of town, on vacation, or otherwise immediately unavailable to carry out the duties of park liaison.  (Ord. 99-18.  Passed 12-22-99.)
